Privacy, simply stated

This directory uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and features are useful. It helps us improve the directory; it is not an application for Social Security benefits.

What analytics may measure

• Pages visited and broad navigation actions, such as an office, guide, phone, directions or nearest-office click.
• Browser, device and general technical information needed for site measurement.
• Cookies or similar identifiers used by Google Analytics to recognize visits.

We do not intentionally send the words a visitor types into the search box, Social Security numbers, Medicare numbers, passwords, identity documents or private benefit-case details to analytics.

What this site does not ask for

• Social Security numbers or Medicare numbers.
• Passwords, one-time codes or identity documents.
• Benefit applications or private case details.

Map, phone and official-information services follow their own privacy practices when you open or call them. We do not receive the contents of those conversations or submissions.
